I R in your chalet stealing your DS

September 26, 2007

got obessed to Taiko Drums DS lately as my beloved da jie decided to lend this bored indivual her DS due to the loong mrt trip to the destination where our class gathering is held.

and whatdaya know, i had no idea how long i played but i managed to make thru the seventh rank[i think] and accomplished almost all the songs in full combo mode

which is nothing to be proud of, cause what i was playing was the beginner’s stage. mwaha, u may laugh at me now. LOL

ps: i was caught surfing my own blog. LOL!

pps: GEEZ. Odex’s Haruhi was said to be copied wholesale from a.f.k subs, not too sure about it and not very interested into checking it out as the chinese dub itself suffice a reason to turn me off from this entire series.

Kyon’s dubbed voice is teh horrendous. nowhere near the sarcasm tone[probably it was just me being skeptical] FAILED

Mikuru’s one…hmm, seriously it wasnt that bad until the scene where u see her speaking through the microphone as well as shouting her lungs out for the sale of cabbages. the tone was EXACTLY the same. ZOMG. FAAAIILLLED.

Yuki’s came the worst of all dubbed voices. I can somewhat “feel” that this particular dubber[err…is that even such a word here?] is trying to fit into Yuki’s deadly silence character but ended up screwing the whole thing up as her voice tends to wobble and cause the voice turned out to be off-tone. MOAR FAIL

Itsuki’s, hmm…it sounded rather GAR. LOL

as for Hauhi, geez, some parts JUST never sound right. FAIIILLLEEEDDD

all these leads to me a conclusion, why bother to have other language dubs when you can enjoy the show more better in original dubs? true, maybe because of the language barrier. but meh, me thinks dubs really ruined the show and thus make it more uninteresting. sadly, Channel 56 only allows Chinese dub, that means im not watching anymore.

as for buying…will buy if they include the original dubs in it. if not, then ah wells. ;p

Believe in the Eva Yahoo Widgets which believes in the gaijin otaku!

September 24, 2007

apparently, i just installed the Eva Yahoo Widgets[which i managed to blindly click through the whole installation progress with those moonspeak x_x]

i so want to get the itunes-tan~ oO A Oo

there’s actually a total of 11 characters flashing[you can also set at just flash only your hawt fave character] at some certain intervals[which you can also adjust] and what i can say now is…

uber kewl.

as the characters[for me, mine is set to “ランダム表示”(show characters randomly. i guess)] flashes at the interval you had adjusted, they will show different emotions at each interval or say something[words appeared at the speech bubbles, how i wish they can speak too >__<]

cause i set it in a way that this clock widget will appear at the top of all windows, sometimes, i really think they can interact to what i was doing and react into something.

Jacky Wu did it again.

September 23, 2007

decided to post this after watching it yesterday.

Jacky does it again and this time, it’s targeted to otakus, particularly those lurking in Taiwan.

Jacky Wu[吳宗憲], uber famous for his humourous[or should i say, extraordinary] hosting skills, aside being singer as well as an actor.

however, humourous being humourous, it had also been peppered with indirect insults in it as well. As they say, all these hosted in the show is just, merely for “effects” for the viewers and so as to boost their ratings of their tv shows.

while this time round, it seems that Mr Wu might have been playing with fire with the otakus that appeared on one of his variety show : Guess(我猜我猜我猜猜猜)

it’s rather obvious as how they treated them[and for once, i was rather shocked, why otakus are willing to present themselves to the television screens…arent they not terrified for once?] errm…riight…that’s…hikikomori…>__>;; okay..let’s move on..

Cold Blooded Teen

September 19, 2007

eh no, im not much of a type who likes to read the news. No thanks to the last episode of School Days got axed due to this incident, i never knew such cold blooded incident took place in a ohh-i-thought-the-so-friendly Japan.

Read this, this as well as this to find out more.

The girl, a vocational school student, stands accused of murder. She admitted to the allegations during questioning.

“I attacked him. I hate my father,” the girl, whose name is being withheld under the Juvenile Law, was quoted as telling investigators. Local police are grilling her over the motives for her crime.

Police said the 16-year-old, who cannot be named because she is a minor, attacked her father as he was sleeping on the second floor of their home in Kyotanabe at about 4 a.m. on Tuesday, bringing the ax down on her his neck and killing him.

An autopsy showed that he died almost instantly from loss of blood. Injuries were found on five or six places on his body, including his neck and his left hand.

“I cut him several times,” police quoted the girl as saying.

The teen’s older sister said their father had been kind and considerate.

“He never treated us violently,” she said. (Mainichi)

supposedly, what the teen’s sister said was true, is this but another sudden trigger of urge to kill a person going into the teen’s mind, and killed her father at that?

if that’s the case, im rather disturbed by the thought of it, of hating the person and wanting the person to be dead.

and the thing is that, this teen is unusually calm even after the murder.

Just what is the world becoming to?

Classic Quote of the Day

September 18, 2007

“…you can call me Paul”

zzzz…how do i acutually put it?

i dun really have a good impression on China students, especially guys in particular.

maybe i haven been meeting much of foreign students enough to make this understatement, but then again, they are really acting on my nerves whenever i meet them.

to me, i sense a huge arrogance air all around China guys that i have met. it’s like, true you can flaunt your new English terms and let others know how a pro u can be but cant u learn a decent bit of humbleness?

sigh….yet another day. ._.ll

dun get me started on one of my classmates. *does a facepalm*
